Independent Party Canada

Questions and Answers

1. Why the independent party? To encourage others to follow suite and run independently also, and to push policies that will immediately garner the trust of the electorate, such as limiting campaign donations to $10 per person, refusing to register the party, and refusing to accept the $2 per vote annually the government pours into the party coffers at your expense.

2. What is your platform? Independents usually don't have a platform. This party has no platform, but plenty of principle. Our votes in parliament would be governed by principle the same way the other parties are, except that there would be no party line votes.

3. Could an NDP or Liberal or Conservative run with your party? Yes. The principles we espouse are overarching all parties except the extreme ones like the Communist party. One of the principles we draw attention to is total economic reform to abolish compound interest, and if a potential candidate could agree with that and the other basic principles, we would let them associate with us. But ultimately it is the responsibility of the voter to research the candidate to find out what they are really about.

4. What is the biggest problem threatening Canada? The largest threat to our country and way of life is compound interest. I wish I could say it is simple, but -- it's compound. Please read the following quote very carefully as we believe it is something that absolutely critical that as many people as possible understand this before it is too late.

Once a nation parts with the control of its currency and credit, it matters not who makes that nation's laws. Usury, once in control, will wreck any nation. Until the control of theMackenzie King issue of currency and credit is restored to government and recognized as its most conspicuous and sacred responsibility, all talk of the sovereignty of Parliament and of democracy is idle and futile" (In 1935, at the beginning of the election campaign, Mackenzie King of the Liberal Party)

5. What is the solution to our economic woes? Mathematically Perfected Economy. In short, MPE™ has been summarized by Mike Montagne as follows:

Mathematically Perfected Economy™ (MPE™) is:

  • the singular integral solution of
    • inflation and deflation
    • systemic manipulation of the cost or value of money or property
    • inherent, artificial multiplication of debt into terminal systemic failure
  • every prospective debtor's right to issue legitimate promises to pay, free of extrinsic manipulation, adulteration, or exploitation of those promises, or the natural opportunity to make good on them
  • our right to certify, to enforce, and to monetize industry and commerce by this one sustaining and truly economic process.

And what is that in English, please? It is this: "It is simply a system then where our promises to pay are issued without the costs and consequences of interest imposed by the present privatized currencies, where debts equal to the original value of the property for which the circulation is issued are paid off at the rate of depreciation or consumption of the property."
